What is counselling?
Counselling is designed to support you with what you’re experiencing right now.
- An approach aimed towards addressing and solving your problems and achieving your goals during a series of conversations.
- A source of guidance that will help you to find the best solution that works for you and your circumstances, by addressing whatever it is you’re struggling with, seeking help with, or looking to achieve in your life.
- A safe space where you can express yourself and feel heard, via online audio or video conversations that allow us to talk, wherever you are in the world.
- A way for you to discover your capacity for resilience and improved self-esteem while creating a better relationship with yourself. It can also have a positive impact on your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
- An opportunity for you to learn how you can support yourself now and in the future.
- An approach that meets you where you’re at based on your current needs, your circumstances, and your desired outcome(s). Because you are unique, so must be the work that we do together.

How successful can counselling be?
Here are some of the results that my clients have achieved through counselling:
‘I would highly recommend Sandy to anyone who is ready to be more connected to their body, minds and hearts through a method of loving, practical guidance - with a healthy serving of humor.’ - DL, USA
‘My first encounter with Sandy was very comforting and pleasant. She made me feel comfortable to talk about uncomfortable emotions. Her guidance opened new possibilities for me to look at things. It brought clarity where there was fog. I especially find useful the affirmations that she helped me coin for myself. It has been some time since we worked together, and I still find what I learned from her useful and applicable on a regular basis.’ - ZH, USA
‘Sandy’s coaching is an immense help and offered me much more than I initially anticipated. Sandy is genuinely interested in helping others, listens actively and finds a way to ask meaningful questions. Also, she offers many valuable and very practical tools and practices that I can implement regularly to help myself.
That is a really big toolbox! Turning 40 was a turning point for me and she supported me in finding out how I can move (in my professional and private life) more in the direction that works for me in the future. I greatly appreciate my sessions with her and highly recommend them to others!’ - HC, NL
‘Sandy is a genuine, truly authentic soul. She is a naturally gentle and compassionate individual whose care will be a soothing balm for the fears and anxieties of all who seek her help. I found it effortless to be able to trust in her even though I am not a very outgoing person. Not only is Sandy encouraging and supportive in her work but she also has a wonderful warmth and sense of humour which will quickly put everyone she treats with at their ease. She is an excellent therapist.’ - JR, UK
‘I found Sandy to be very professional she was able to provide a safe space for me to explore some really deep emotions. She was positive and I felt I could be completely open with her. I’m glad that at least our first session was a video call so I could put a face to a voice, which I appreciated. Sandy’s instructions were always clear and she gave further information or repeated instructions when I required. She showed sensitivity pacing the exercises well and in allowing me space to recover or pause during exercises which showed great compassion too. She also provided thoughtful reflections at times, which added to the warmth of the sessions.
I’ve found the sessions to have reduced the residual resentment and annoyance I was holding onto which has been quite freeing to which I am most grateful to Sandy for. I can still hear her voice saying “... and peace is available to me now’. - MC, UK
