Counselling for Individuals
It’s important that you feel comfortable sharing whatever you’re experiencing and what you’d like help with.
When something in your life is asking for more than you’re currently able to give, consulting with a counsellor can help you to address your issue, experience personal growth and provide you with the knowledge and tools required to resolve problems on your own in the future.

Counselling for Couples
Before you became a couple you were, and still are, an individual. Often, you unwittingly bring along habits, experiences and reactions that are unrelated to your current relationship, and this can sometimes cause disruption. Most likely your relationship has brought with it new experiences which have caused uncertainty or made you question yourself, or the best way to approach these matters with your partner.
Counselling is always about the individual, and if you’re looking to create some change for yourself, initially, we would work one-to-one. If your partner is also interested in creating change, I would work with them independently. And, when it’s mutually agreeable, we can always arrange to have one or more group sessions together.
Here’s where counselling can be helpful in overcoming, reducing or improving yourself as an individual, or in your relationship:
- Relationships can be amazing; they can also be complicated. This is mainly because you are two individuals, each with your own experiences, feelings, reactions, and expectations. This includes your romantic relationships, family, children, work colleagues or friends.
- Counselling can help you to build a better relationship first and foremost with yourself. By investing the time and energy in yourself and doing the work, your perspective of yourself and the world around you will change. When you start to understand your wants, needs and values, you can also learn how to effectively communicate and enforce your boundaries with others. The combined effect of taking action and being consistent will help you to gain clarity, understand why you feel the way you do, know what’s right for you, improve your self-esteem, along with moving you towards achieving your desired results. You’ll decide if there’s any other changes you’d like to make in your life, and, in the future, you’ll no longer be reliant on anyone else’s opinion or approval in making your own decisions.

Counselling for Teams, Groups & Organisations
With the background information you provide regarding what it is you’re seeking to improve or change within your organisation, together we can focus on improving the mental health and well-being of your employees, leading to a more cooperative organisation that can function as a whole. This can lead to better communication, more resilience, less absenteeism, higher productivity, and less attrition.
Perhaps there’s been a recent change in your organisation which has had an impact on your employees. This can affect morale, production, absenteeism, and communication. If trust has been lost, a counsellor can serve as a mediator between the organisation and the employees, working with both towards discovering a feasible solution that works for everyone.
There may be a rise in absenteeism in your organisation, and you would like to take action to support your employees and make your workplace a place where solutions can be found. Whether the reason for absenteeism is personal or work related, when your employees realise that you offer them solutions which they can discover during their time at work, either during a lunch break or appointment, they’ll be more motivated to continue working while finding a solution to whatever has been affecting their morale.
When you’d like to boost motivation, collaboration, and cooperation in your organisation, or improve relationships within one or multiple teams, this is something that could be planned after hours or on a team building weekend.
